I actually recommend having a file server at home to move all of your files and database material to by using cron jobs or scheduled events. Beware of Free Trials
Some hosting companies now are trying to get you locked into their web hosting program by offering free trials. This is not just a total waste of time, but it's a waste of effort and it can cause some serious data management problems. Moving around DNS, Website Content and Database Data from one server to another should only be performed in a desperate time of need by a Data Specialist. Moving around a database can cause serious inconsistencies within the tables and fields of your database and in some cases it can cause a complete data loss. Free Trial programs offered by web hosting companies only causes problems in the future. If you are thinking of only a temporary solution for your web hosting needs, pleasse reconsider. Your data is vital! Don't play Russian Roulette with your website or data. We recently did a free trial with jumpline as a service to our guests here at Web Host Galore. The service was absolutely horrible. We were abe to get our account opened pretty easily and we were allowed to move the DNS from one of our testing domains over to their servers pretty easily. However- once we got in there and began working trying to install a blog on our system we were finding all kinds of problems. Jumpline use to be listed on our pages here at Web Host Galore, but something went wrong with them. Their services became muddled with jibberish, and when we tested them again a few months later, their program that we once thought was considerable was at a much lower level of service than we were expecting. Jumpline is currently offering free trials- and I do not know why. Do not put your website on a free trial services. It's just not a good way to do business. Some web hosting companies out there ARE scams- and they only care about their monthly/ yearly income, and they are not concerned with giving you everything you need to make your website the best it can be.
